Spd Warranty
It leads with a catalytic converter badly hurt the car?
I have a Lincoln LS 2000 and have had 2 catalytic converters go out and have been replaced. Now, one of the replacements have emerged. This part costs $ 950 alone. The first two were covered under warranty, but now it is not. I just a checkup, so I'm not concerned about emissions of right now, if the car is still okay to drive. (The part that is because my car is expensive 5 spd manual and the cat. Converter is different than the automatic.) —- I have a check engine light on and have been having to read the code and the code said the cat on the passenger side. converter is bad. I have not noticed any loss of power.
if the problem is the check engine light with code efficiency cat, then not driving the vehicle does not hurt anyone, if the problem is the loss of power, especially upwards, due to blockage or connect cat then it runs as they can cause damage or fire
